The aim of your Manufacturing
Alliance is to form an association between groups for a shared purpose.
The Manufacturing Alliance
is to work in collaboration with the relevant local Mid Yorkshire
Chamber of Commerce or Council Economic Development Unit as appropriate.
- To provide a local forum for its members
- To enable peer networking and benchmarking
- To identify and encourage co-operative working and inter-supply
opportunities.
- To create a forum to advise members of manufacturing best practice.
- To provide a contact point to access manufacturing support and
advice through the regional Centre for Manufacturing Excellence
- To give guidance, advice and support in relation to workforce skills development
Alliance Membership:
Is available to all Manufacturing
organisations irrespective of size or nature of value added activity,
within Calderdale Area.
Development of the Alliance will be through organised events both locally and regionally, appointment of an Alliance Steering Group and the use of a specifically designed website.
Membership is free and Membership certificates will be
issued.
Alliance Support
Calderdale Manufacturing Alliance
receives support from Action Halifax, Calderdale Council, MYCCI
and the European Regional Development Fund.
Secretariat Function:
To achieve and support
these aims the Alliance is co-ordinated by a secretariat function,
provided by the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.
